Marco Hohensee studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg and the Humboldt University in Berlin. He completed his legal clerkship at the Oberlandesgericht Brandenburg in May 2017.During his legal clerkship, he attended a degree programme in corporate and tax law at the University of Potsdam and graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M), which also provided him with the theoretical knowledge required to qualify as a specialist tax lawyer. Since mid-2017, Marco Hohensee has worked for an internationally oriented commercial law firm in the field of criminal tax law, before joining Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte at the end of 2018.
His practice now focuses on public procurement law, whereby Marco Hohensee advises bidders and clients on complex tenders and represents them in review proceedings. He also handles litigation and advisory mandates in private construction law. Furthermore, Marco Hohensee advises both clients and bidders comprehensively in the area of compliance, in particular on the implementation of compliance management systems (CMS) under public procurement law or the introduction of other internal control measures to ensure compliance with public procurement law requirements.
