Jochen Lüders has been with Leinemann Partner Rechtsanwälte since 2004 and became a partner in 2009. Prior to that, he had already been practicing as a lawyer in Berlin since 1996, following his studies in Münster and various stays abroad.His practice focuses on legal support for national and international large-scale projects in high-rise construction, rail infrastructure projects, and plant construction (offshore wind farms, subway construction) on both the client and contractor sides. He also represents clients in court regarding claims arising from construction contracts or their defense and advises on real estate transactions. Additionally, Jochen Lüders provides legal counsel on procurement law for both public and private clients.
Jochen Lüders is a certified specialist lawyer in construction and architectural law as well as public procurement law. He is also a lecturer at the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (Berlin School of Economics and Law) and a regular contributor to specialized legal journals. He is a co-author of books such as the Praxishandbuch "Bauen mit der Bahn" and the Leinemann/Kues commentary on BGB construction contract law. The Handelsblatt has ranked him among Germany’s best lawyers in construction and real estate law for several years, including in 2024. Furthermore, the renowned Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) recommends Jochen Lüders in its national edition under the "Construction" category.
Jochen is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and construction law seminars, including events organized by the Association of German Engineers (VDI Knowledge Forum), the DIN Academy, and in-house training sessions.
Jochen Lüders is a member of the German Bar Association, the ARGE-Baurecht Working Group on Construction Law and the Deutscher Baugerichtstag e.V. [German Construction Law Society]. Furthermore, he is also a member of the Bar Association in Berlin.
